Default Conference/ 3-Way Calling

Please Login to Remove!

On the 8700c, the doc reads that to make a 3-way call, you call the first party and connect, you scroll to new call, dial the number, once connected, you can join the call to the first party.

When you do this, the first party hears the number being dialed.

Any way to do a conference/ 3-way call without the party hearing the call? I thought that I tried doing a 3-way call by putting the first party on hold and dialing a new call. But I couldn't find a way to then conference.

Thanks in advance for the help.
