Which is better? I use 8700g on T-Mobile in New York with the Internet data plan.

just wonder do you have the Internet Data plan or the BB Data plan with TMO?

I have the regular $20 per month unlimited, not the enterprise.

I have used both programs extensively.

In my experience, WebMessenger isn't quite as slick and doesn't have as many whistles and bells, but is more reliable than Verichat.

A nice feature with WebMessenger, is that it comes with a desktop client that connects with the WebMessenger server where you can add and delete buddies. WebMessenger also has chat rooms, although I have never used them.

No. Both WebMessenger and Verichat are commercial programs. You can learn more and download trials for each of them by clicking on the links above.
