Default Call Failed Volume

Please Login to Remove!

So I have an 8700g and when I make a call and it fails cause of Tmobiles coverage or whatever, i get this LOUD beep like two or three times and I cannot push anything to silence it! it sucks when im in the office and it goes off. one time it came over the speaker...not just the ear piece.

i searched and i guess i am the only one with this problem? t-mobile bberry support said to turn down the volume...that didnt work.

suggestions?

I think this only happens if you are using speakerphone.
I have seen this. If I am on the speaker phone and dialed the number and call could not go thru . then I will try to hung up by pressing the hang up key but it will be so loud. so in that case now i press turn off the speakerphone first and then hang up.
works fine fore me

Wirelessly posted (8700c: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I have had it happen in the past; I don't believe it matters how you are using the phone app, i.e. regular through the ear piece, BT, and/or speakerphone. One of my customers is a hospital and I frequently lose my connection b/c of the interference. I do not believe there is a way to silence once it starts beeping.

i dont use speakerphone unless im at home and the only time this problem happens is when im using the handsets earpiece in the office. its weird, it will beep like twice on the earpiece super loud and then it starts using the speaker as if i didnt hear it first. it happened to me twice more today. i dont get it and its driving me nuts.

Nope -- it's the same with the 8700c. I usually just hit the end key.

FYI - Yeah I have this problem too. The failed call beeping is ridiculously loud and there is no way to stop it. Luckily it doesn't happen to me much.
