Default Ring Tones assigned to specific Address Book Entries

Please Login to Remove!

We're using Lotus Notes and the BES at work, and I was curious if anyone had assigned custom ringtones to specific people in their address book. If you have to do an Enterprise Activation on your phone, will this information come back or is it lost???

Thanks in advance.

Create an 'exception' on a profile and that will allow a custom ring for a particular contact...

Sorry, can't answer the other question...

I have an 8703e on BES/ Notes and to get a specific ring on a specific contact, in your address book, you have to highlight the contact, push the click wheel, choose "edit", then push the clickwheel again and choose "add custom phone tone".

Dunno about your second question.

Tri --

I just had my 8700g on T-Mo upgraded to BES and hooked into my firm's system. I kept all profiles and data and my contacts/calendar entries were even sync'ed into Lotus Notes.

I cannot guarantee that it will be the same for you, but that's as it was for me.
