For those who use their holsters regularlary: have you noticed that the holster comes very stiff, and now I am noticing small scratches on the front of my BB just to the bottom left of the ALT key and to the bottom right of the ENTER key... (I use my holster sparingly)

Is anyone else having this issue? Anyway to stretch, or break-in the holster without having to sacrafice the front of my bb?

I would get a new holster, don't use the one that comes with it.

same here..Holster is VERY stiff and it's a struggle to get it out...

When you holster the bb, does the key pad face outside or inside.
There was some thread back here that showed some were initially trying to use it with key pad facing outside, that led to scratches.

I have only had my phone since Tuesday...but I have holstered and removed it plenty of times and after close inspection there is no sign of scratches.

ive had my phone since the 20th and I only noticed it today, keep an eye out in a week or so hades...

Also use the holster. Used the same one for my 7250 and it was stiff at first, too. I'm sure it will loosen up some. The old phone got major scratches, but more around the silver faceplate. Nothing so far on the 8703 but I'll have to keep an eye out. I found the soft neoprene pouch to be nice for the 7250, except it did not have a swivel clip. I prefer to have it closer to my belt rather than stick out, so I'm going to have to see what all the new ones have.

i love the stock holster even tho it is very stiff. The reason why is because it is close to the body. I have a small scratch as well by the alt key and caps key. I mean yeah it kinda bothers me but i can see it if i just look at it normally so I am not to woried about it. If they get more noticable then I will have to find a different way to carry the phone. Until then I will deal with it.

My stock holster was very stiff at first, but now it is easy enough to get the BB out and not worry about it falling out.

I also checked my 8700C - no scratches in over 2 months now.

Don't want to come off as a jerk, but who cares if the phone gets scratched?

I've had my 8703e since mid July and no scratches yet...

why couldn't the 8700r's holster be stiff???

the unit falls outta the holster so easily...
