Default 8700c Must DO's - Anything new?

Please Login to Remove!

1. OS upgrade and Zen Theme = must
2. Install Google maps and SSH
3. use outlook to create a nice contact list and sync it 2 the BB
4. setup BB as a modem on laptop

Anyone got any other cool software thats usefull?
Maybe some good Websites that are good for mobile devices?

Not lookin for AIM. I only have 200 msgs per month + BB internet and email plan for 30/month. Work pays for the service. I am with cingular.

Are there any other free ssh clients out there besides midpssh? I don't like midp at all, and am looking for something better

Can someone explain what the big deal is with the Zen theme? I loaded it and found it to be a PITA.

Totally agree - Zen does NOTHING but maximize screen space for a stupid background image.

Red face I love my Zen becasue

I like ZEN becasue of the Window's like icon that holds all of the applications and options. Also; I like the face that you can actually see the background.

But I could see how some people find it pointless...but I love it.

Also; I have all of the themes from every carrier and I am wondering is it anyway to change the line where it says "Tmobile" ...I have the cingular theme (not currently using) and it says cingular in the top left corner....it seems a little weird for me to use that theme becasue it will say both Tmobile and Cingular.

the os upgrade seems to be the biggest thing...
increases volume alot on the phone alot.
