Default 8700c Must DO's - Anything new?

Please Login to Remove!

1. OS upgrade and Zen Theme = must
2. Install Google maps and SSH
3. use outlook to create a nice contact list and sync it 2 the BB
4. setup BB as a modem on laptop

Anyone got any other cool software thats usefull?
Maybe some good Websites that are good for mobile devices?

Not lookin for AIM. I only have 200 msgs per month + BB internet and email plan for 30/month. Work pays for the service. I am with cingular.

Thanks,
mhx

Are there any other free ssh clients out there besides midpssh? I don't like midp at all, and am looking for something better

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

This weather site is pretty cool for showing radar maps in motion.

Can someone explain what the big deal is with the Zen theme? I loaded it and found it to be a PITA.

Totally agree - Zen does NOTHING but maximize screen space for a stupid background image.

Red face I love my Zen becasue

I like ZEN becasue of the Window's like icon that holds all of the applications and options. Also; I like the face that you can actually see the background.

But I could see how some people find it pointless...but I love it.

Also; I have all of the themes from every carrier and I am wondering is it anyway to change the line where it says "Tmobile" ...I have the cingular theme (not currently using) and it says cingular in the top left corner....it seems a little weird for me to use that theme becasue it will say both Tmobile and Cingular.
