Default Different OS's

Please Login to Remove!

I am currently using the Telstra OS on my T-Mobile 8700g, and like it except for the Ghost SMS bug in the Vodaphone Today theme. With this OS on my device, the posted fixes for this bug do not work.

The main thing I am wondering is which is the best OS to use, and what are the pros and cons? If someone could shed some light on this I would really appreciate it. I HAVE done extensive searching, but cannot find anything that compares the different OS versions.

Thanks in advance for all your helpful replies.

I am not aware of anyone who has posted the minor differences in OS's. I think for the most part there may be a thread here or there. Which Telstra are you using? .351 is the latest I think.

Please don't bump a thread after only 62 minutes. On a Sunday morning no less!

I am using v4.1.0.309

Should I upgrade? I just want the Vodafone today theme to work without the GHOST SMS that frustrates me to no end.

Also, as I mentioned, curious as to the intricate differences/pros and cons.

If bumping the thread annoyed you I am sorry, it was just immediately down 5 or 6 spots, and I didnt want it to disappear with older threads.

If I forgot to mention, the only reason I switched the OS is to get the today themes, although the Dimension today is TERRIBLY slow. I really like the today screens. If anyone knows of any other today themes, please let me know.

Typing anything bumps it to the top. The threads with the most recent replies/action are listed 1st. I can't believe that guy got mad at me for that.
