Blackberry 8100 Media Player on 8700 possible??

Just a random thought... but do you think it would be possible to extract the media player from the BB Pearl and install it in the 8700?

I think some have tried and failed. Not sure how much good it would do anyway. There is really no space on the 8700 to store any multimedia files.
