Unhappy Can some one please help me

I dont really no what im doing but i really need help getting this yahoo IM to work. I put it on my phone but it keeps telling me to activate my handheld. I saw the post about the service book but i dont no what im doing. I have the Blackberry 8703e from sprint. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pardon my dumb question but you did not indicate if you set up your yahoo IM account online yet. Did you?

If setting up Instant Messenger is such a crisis, then they probably have their account already...

Do you have a Blackberry Data Plan on your 8703e?

AND according to the OP his handheld might need activating as well as accepting new service books.
