Please Login to Remove!

Today I just had an error message on my 7130c. It came on my screen and said Data Connection Refused and its on my main screen above my icons. I dont know what this means. Any help? I did recently (well today) set up my work's email account today but I already have 2 other set up so I shouldnt have had any complications. Anyways...help me please!! Thanks.

First try power cycling the phone to see if it connects back to the blackberry service.

Next... try re-sending the service books using the webclient

You can also see if the internet is working on the phone, it may be an account problem on blackberry's side.

This has happened to me a few times with my 7100 -- each time I cleared it up by cleaning the metal contacts on my SIM card with a pencil eraser. You don't have to apply a lot of pressure -- just a gentle erase.

Good luck!

I think you have answered your own question. Call Cingulars customer service and see what is going on with your account. For some reason your account is suspended (non payment???) or data services in your area area down. If it has been 24 hours, I would say it is not the network.
