Can i use Blackberry 8707 as a 3G card? Hi everyone, Since the blackberry 8707 comes with a 3G connection, would it be possible to use it as a 3G card on a laptop? is there any way i can share the 3G connection with the laptop? I think it would be brilliant if it could especially as you can turn your blackberry into a dial up modem. |
Yes, you can do this. It has to be tethered to the laptopb via the USB cable, however (it cannot be done via Bluetooth). RIM and Vodafone have a PDF file on how to set this up. Its actually quite simple. Speed, for me atleast, has been average and varies a lot. Searching for 8707 and tethering will find the document and other information on this. |
You are a diamond scholar my friend. You will be a legend in histroy if you can tell me where i can download that PDF document. |
