Can i use Blackberry 8707 as a 3G card?

Hi everyone,

Since the blackberry 8707 comes with a 3G connection, would it be possible to use it as a 3G card on a laptop? is there any way i can share the 3G connection with the laptop? I think it would be brilliant if it could especially as you can turn your blackberry into a dial up modem.

Yes, you can do this. It has to be tethered to the laptopb via the USB cable, however (it cannot be done via Bluetooth).

RIM and Vodafone have a PDF file on how to set this up. Its actually quite simple.

Speed, for me atleast, has been average and varies a lot.

Searching for 8707 and tethering will find the document and other information on this.
