Can some one help me with this
i have a laptop which is not online
i would like to send the attachments i receive on my blackbeery to the laptop via usb cable or bluetooth
what is the best way to do this ??
i am really struggling
Even if i can send all the emails to the laptop via the cable then open them in outlook would help
Any ideas
Appreciate any help

I don't believe it is possible. Forward the emails to an email account you open on the computer.

Not possible for data transfer via USB or Bluetooth.

That's one of the main gripes I've had with the Bluetooth on Blackberrys. You can't send files back and forth using Bluetooth. I hope they change this functionality in the 8800 or even in a later release of the handheld software.

i would just forward the e-mails from your blackberry to an e-mail account that is accessible from your laptop, then open them and save them that way.. thats what i do..

Yep, e-mail is the VERY easy work around. I don't miss not having BT transfer

Hooray for forums...I too have been trying to solve the apparently unsolvable. I recently got a BB 8700 to keep up with work on the road. (I'm on BIS). One of my needs is to be able to transfer emailed attachments to my laptop (The Cingular guy told me this works 'just fine'). I LOVE the BB but have been driving myself crazy trying to figure out how to transfer attachments to my laptop when I'm not in a wi-fi zone. USB doesn't work so I got a Bluetooth/USB dongle...no joy there either. So, now I KNOW, it can't be done.. RIM tech support suggested tethering (using BB as modem) ..extra $70/month with Cingular..no thanks! I hate to give up the BB. Is there ANY device out there that does this?

Send the attachment to another email, use your bb as a modem to connect your laptop to the net (I wonder why no one suggested?), the download it from your laptop.

All the ideas of sending email from bb to another email acct and open it from laptop are good ideas AS LONG AS the user can get his laptop to connect on the internet
