Default Problem w/ Yahoo Messenger

Please Login to Remove!

I'm trying to prevent the software from remembering my username/pass.

I tried blanking the username and password field, as well as unchecking "remember my ID & password" and unchecking "automatically sign in".

When I goto close the app, it tells me that changes have been made, and it prompts me to save, discard or cancel. I saved the settings, and when I open the app again, my ID & Pass are still saved. I even tried uninstalling, rebooting the handheld, and reinstalling. The data was still there!

Any ideas?

Try this
Sign into Yahoo! making sure all the check boxes are unckecked. After signing in, sign out. There should not be any box checked. Then delete your name (and password should automatically be deleted as well). Quit Yahoo!
When you return to Yahoo! the name/password fields should be blank.
