Default 7100V Help Needed

Hi,

I have just bought a Blackberry 7100V which had been unlocked by the person i bought it from.

I put my sim card in and switched the handset on, however a message appears saying that - Your device does not have an browser configuration service book eneteries.

I cannot contact my servie provider as the simcard is a work one and i dont have permission to access the account information with T-Mobile.

Is there anyway i can download the browser without having to go through T-Mobile?

It also says that "data connection refused" am i right in thinking this means i cant use the blackberry desktop redirector service?

Any help would me much appreciated.

If you are getting Data Connection Refused it means that you do not have a BlackBerry Data Plan on your account. Without a BlackBerry Data Plan all you will have is voice and SMS. No data, no internet, no e-mail.

You can not download the browser. It gets pushed down by your carrier. Once you have a BlackBerry Data Plan.

I have now had a blackberry data plan added to my account. Everything works fine, however it appears to be taking a lifetime to recieve emails.

I am using the desktop redirector and its taking up to 30 minuntes for emails to be sent to my handheld.

Is there anyway i can speed this up??

will this get bluetooth operational as well ? (blackberry data plan )
