HELP i just got today a NIB 8700r from rogers, because the one i have its USB is not working the best, but i didnt test the speaker on the back, but now after i have loaded new newist OS the rear speaker dosent work unless you are pressing on it, i dont think they are related but...anyone offer any thoughts!!!!

There have been other BB's that have had the same issue, and they were resolved by a battery pull. Have you tried that yet.

now i am assuming that you mean take the bat out and put it back in, i tried that even tired putting another 8700r bat in it and the same issue

pushing on the speaker should not enable it to work unless there is a bad connection

As another member has noted, that usually signifies a bad connection. I would simply send it back, and get Rogers to issue you a new one. I would not try fixing that problem yourself...just take it back and get a new one.

ahh yeah i think yall are right! i was hopeing that it was an os thing, even tho i knew it shouldnt be....hmmm the funny thing is, the unit with the bad speaker, is a replacement for a unit with a bad usb! soo not having much luck lol thanks tho!
