Depends on the type of cell phone. I had an end user who took the SIM card from his i830 (Nextel) and put it in his 7100i. He then went into the address book and had the option to copy the SIM card contacts to his Blackberry.
Not sure if this will work with other models....I think it has to be a 3-digit phone SIM (i760, i830, etc).
