Default Missed text in sms / truncated sms

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I'm using 7100g. Whenever i received a "slightly" longer sms (usually with punctuations), the sms will get "chopped" to 2 sms. The second sms will be a blank sms without content.

Hope you can enlightened me on this and tell me what's going on.

cheers
terence

How many characters are in your sms messages? They are usually limited to around 160 characters depending on your carrier.

The splitting or truncation is done by the sender's phone/carrier, not by yours.

Yes, 160 characters, including spaces and punctuation is the limit.
