Default AIM Instant Messenger - Considered "Text Messaging" or Data?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all. Proud new owner of a 8703e blackberry! I am have reading these forums for about a month now researching before buying and I must say this place is a wealth of information. I purchased the unlimited data plan with sprint and the evdo speeds are incredible. I do have one question that needs clarification. I understand AIM instant messenger can be used on our phones via "Ramble" from what I have read. Now, when using this Ramble software is it considered "text messenging"? I don't use text messaging since I email most of the time anyway, but it would be good to know if I could use the AIM instant messenger without incurring the text messenging costs. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much.
