Deleting Messages/Emails

Is there a way to mass delete instead of having to delete them one by one? Most phones have a DELETE ALL tab, but I dont seem to see one.

In the message screen, move to the date line and then click the wheel. Select "DELETE PRIOR" and click again. All the messages prior to that date will be deleted.

I thought there was a way to selectively delete messages by alt/trackwheel or some such combination, but I have not been able to find the right combination. That is what is needed on the BB, in addition to "Delete Prior" which of course will delete everything prior to the date you select.

Not sure there's a "CTRL" function, like on a keyboard, but if you hold "Shift" and roll the trackwheel, you can delete multiple items, but not the entire history before that date.

If you hold the NUM key (on the 8700) and scroll the wheel and then hit delte, the highlited messages will be deleted.

CAP and NUM are alternate functions of the two shift keys.
