HELP
My 7100g cingular keeps working then coming up with error codes. It will work for 6 hours then in the middle of a call just go to an error code(not always the same one). Then after several hard restarts goes back to working normal.
I updated to the latest cingular download in hopes of eliminating the problem but no luck.
Is there some repair program I can buy or any advice out there. Cingular says since it is 13 months old it is out of warantee and therefore cannot use the exchange program.

Wirelessly posted (8700c: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Do an entire wipe of the device stripping it of the current OS using Jl_cmdr; then reload the newest OS from Cingular. If you continue to encounter the error you might have a bad device.

What I might suggest is to call Cingular & briefly explain you're situation to them. Then when that person says no, ask to have the call escalated to a supervisor.

Explain that you want them to replace the phone.

If that fails send me a PM.

Cheers...
