You know if exists any PC software that allows to send and receive SMS directly on PC connected to BlackBerry?

Not sure if this is what you are looking for....I use this teleflip.com every once and a while. 100 messages a month free. Check it out

I'm sure this isn't what you are looking for, but I send/receive SMS msgs on my PC via the VZ Access software for my KPC-650. The issue here, is that my KPC-650 has a different MTN than my 8703e, so SMS messages have to be directed to the MTN of my KPC-650 to arrive on my PC.

Alternatively, If you have the tethering option enabled for your BB, and use the VZ Access software to connect, I'm pretty sure you could send/receive SMS on your PC that way

Thank you for your helps but perhaps this is not what i tried. I know some pc software that allows the SMS management of a mobile phone.
This is not possible for Blackberry?

If you use Outlook, there is an add-in for Outlook on Microsoft's website.

Microsoft description -- This download will enable you to send SMS text messages through most Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) mobile phones connected to your PC using Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.

Go to Microsoft website, select Downloads then search for SMS under the category Office. I tried to paste the link, but I don't have 10 posts so it wouldn't let me. If you can't find it maybe I can PM you the link.

I tried it on my old 6230 and couldn't get it to work. Maybe it will work with a newer model.

Post your results if you get it to work.

I have tried using my Pearl 8100 to send SMS out of Outlook. I have my phone connected via USB, but it doesn't work. I haven't been able to find any solutions on faqs etc. Definately a cool feature. You have to have both XP and Outlook 2003 install on your PC plus the SMS outlook ad-on. Perhaps it isn't working b/c I am logged into the network at the office?

If anyone has a solution, I would be interested in hearing about it!

You cannot manage SMS from the PC to a Blackberry unless you are attempting to set BB options that are available within Desktop Manager
