does anyone know if there is a way to set my Homescreen Image as the image that also shows up when my keyboard is in lock mode. right now, it goes to the cingular symbol when i lock it.

i use a pic of my dog as my Homescreen Image. can i also use that for the lock screen image??

No way to change that I've found. If you update to a Zen theme your lock screen is the same as your homescreen. One reason I updated to Zen.

All other default and custom themes that I've used and installed uses different lock screen image and no way to change. Was very frustrating at the time until i switched to the Zen theme.

Goto Pictures, select the image, click the scroll wheel, and select 'Set as Standby'

That was from memory on my old 7250 (which was running the Vodafone theme).

I'm looking at my 8703e right now (vodafone today theme) and I don't even have a pictures icon anymore!

Sorry for the confusion.

Yeah - I just unhid my Pictures icon, and I see that the functionality to set an image as the standby image (as well as resetting the standby image) is unavailable on my 8703e.

Still works like a champ on my wife's 7250 though! ;)

Not sure if this is OS, Device or Theme related

Using the Dimension-Today theme and it uses the home screen as the locked screen.

From the sound of things, it may be theme related. Has anyone found a theme that still allows you to do this?

I use the Dimension Today theme, and the keyboard lock screen has the same background as the home screen. I know the Zen theme does this as well. If you haven't, you should try the today theme. It absolutely rocks!
