Default keypad dialing

When calling some phone systems, one needs to look for a person by "dialing" their name using the keypad. Is there any download or shorcut to use in order to know which letters correspond to the standard dialing keypad (i.e. 2=a, b, c; 3=d,e,f; etc.). Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (7100I: BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103)

If you hold the "alt" key & type the letters, your bb will automatically convert the letters to the correct numbers.

Thanks so much. I have not seen that feature described anywhere.
