In case you need more proof that the 8800 won't be out in a month, note this:

IF it comes out on Cingular first, as everyone is expecting, it would require a month-long beta test (per Cingular) before they would release it. As it's not in beta at this point, there's no way it will be out in a month.

Boy, look at the pot I stirred up. I regret posting this. I no way did I claim that it would be released by Dec. 11th. I mearly posted an observation from the story in the link. The actual odds of it actually being released by Dec. 11th are extremely slim to absolutely none.

The Pearl could be another story though. I actually do expect to see that by the 11th.

As far as RIM learning a valuable lesson with Pearl leaks, it's a good theory but extremely doubtful.

I'm so confused! I'm just happy with my old-school 7290...but am patiently watching and waiting for the 8800. In the meantime I'll just but a Zune Tuesday, just to have some gadget to play with in the meantime.

The Indigo will be Cingular only from what I've seen/heard/been told thus far. Tmobile will be getting the Crimson Q2 of '07. So I would say that either that Tmobile corporate rep is messing with you or he has no clue what he's talking about.
