Default Indigo by December 11th?

Sure sounds that way if these comments are reliable. At the end of the report it sounds like the guy is describing the Indigo.

Report: there will be TWO VERSIONS of Cingular BlackBerry Pearl, and ... - BBHub

I'm not a fan of the all white keys for the center three rows. Glad I got the T-Mobile one

VERY interesting. Looks like the launch date will be on or before Dec 11.

Has anyone heard anything about companies being able to unlock the 8800 right from the release date? I'd love to get one ASAP unlocked for T-mobile......

Man, I waited outside my T-Mobile store to get my 8100 on release day, and if this rumor is true, I'll be at a Cingular store to get the 8800 on the 11th, and then as soon as I can find a computer, I'll paypal Adam at GSMPS to get that jam unlocked.

I was hoping to have at least a few more months before I was "forced" to buy a new device. :(

I wish this were true, but talking to my Rogers business rep we won't see the 8800 in Canada this year. I would expect a February release at the earliest.

Wow. You have a super amount of credibility with one post to your name.

The 8800 wasn't on the recent Cingular Rebate form where the Pearl was listed with other soon-to-be-released phones.

Default RE - Release Date

Hopefully...very soon, we will have a solid release date. I don't want to get to the Cingular store late when the product does get released, to find out they are out do to shortages (kind of like what is going on with the PS3) right now.

The date it gets released is the day I am picking mine up, provided Cingular carries it, which they should.

Believe me...when a date is set, or the product is out, it will be all OVER this forum.

It sure sounds like nothing in that blog entry was reliable.

I'm not convinced it's ready yet. Think about it, RIM are sooooo bad from a security perspective that there will be leaked images way before a month prior to release! Not to mention that there's been nothing put forward for FCC approval yet.
