| I'm a new Blackberry user too (7130e)...however, I teach Outlook classes. So I made sure I could manager my Outlook with the Blackberry before I purchased. I was able to add my business e-mail account and my personal e-mail account on the uscellular website and both accounts download perfectly into my Blackberry. I do not have anyone actually sending mail to my Blackberry e-mail account, so I did not set up an Outlook e-mail account for the Blackberry. Do you actually NEED the Blackberry e-mail account to be set up in Outlook as an e-mail account?
I can sync my address book, calendar, tasks, and notes with the Desktop Manager software for the computer and it syncs just like my Palm and Pocket PC. There is an option on the phone to reconcile the e-mail, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I DO get all my e-mails both places, but when I delete an e-mail from one of them, it doesn't delete it from the other.
Our business is setting up and Enterprise server that I think will fix that problem, but I'm not really sure how that will work just yet.
I would like to know how to "sync" the e-mail so that everything deletes from the Blackberry if I have deleted it from Outlook. Does anyone know how to do this? Or can it be done through Desktop Manager.
Hope this helps. |
