Default 7130c Help

Please Login to Remove!

I'm very new to this Blackberry thing and I don't have the internet browser able to connect yet, mainly due to the fact that its expensive. I was wondering though if there is a way to send me mp3 over to the phone. Also, without the browser support is there a way to forward my gmail or hotmail to my phone, maybe as SMS's or something.

Thanks,

John

Nope. Every way to get an MP3 to your BB requires a BB data plan.

Default A Data Plan for an MP3 transfer?

Just got my Blackberry 7100c a week ago and I love it. I just want to clarify. Do you mean that I can't hook up my data cable and tranfer a file to the phone?

No you can't transfer a file via the USB cable. Desktop Manager 4.2 has the ability to tansfer files via Media Manager but only with the Blackberry 8100. If you still want to download it, just search "4.2"

Is there an anticipated time frame for ver. 4.2 yet?

How long does RIM typically go between minor revs and major revs?

I continue to be very impressed with what one can do with a BB and the stability of it all. I look at my email in an entirely different way now, with the flexiblity afforded by this terrific device.

Fast, efficient, and it just works. I am really happy that I chose to go BlackBerry.

Thanks...
