Default New to BlackBerry, couple questions

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Blackberry. Switched to the 8703e from the Moto Q and am thrilled! Everything on the Blackberry works so much better! It's quicker and more stable, two things that I really needed.

I had a couple questions...

Is there any way to move the cursor back in text you've typed? I typed a couple paragraphs and realized I made a spelling error a few lines back, but can't figure out a way other than the delete key, which would make me type it over again.

I'm using BIS for all my email and Desktop Manager to sync my Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes with Outlook 2003. Is there a way to do that over Bluetooth or wireless?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums!

1) Hold down ALT and move the wheel.

2) Yes it is possible to synch via bluetooth. You're PC must have a bluetooth adapter though. Check out the link below for the Bluetooth forum.

Thanks! There's so much to learn about this thing, but I'm very happy it with it. It does everything I need and much better than the Moto Q.

I have bluetooth in my laptop, how do I set it up to synch that way? I tried to add the phone to My Bluetooth Places and it sees ActiveSync and Voice Services profiles.

Search the Bluetooth forums for details instructions on synching the BB with your computer.

The search feature is your friend here. Most of the times you'll find the answer a lot quicker than waiting for someone to reply!

Good to be here

I tried the link on the bb and it tells me Error 404 Not Found. The link you gave has "...." in the middle, so it must have gotten truncated by something. Can you paste again?
