I made the switch from Nextel to Sprint last week. I took my personal account which has my wife's phone and mine and we moved to Sprint. Unfortunately, I was in a rush when I was signing up that I did not insist on getting a phone from One Touch Wireless. The manager promised me a phone by next day. Well, as I found out from customer service that is impossible. I finally received a phone 5 days after it was promised and it was a 7130 instead of the 8700. My contract is for an 8700. I tried calling customer service and they push me to tele sales which pushes me to support but they dont' answer the phone. One Touch Wireless is useless. I have tried calling the manager at the store and he does not return calls. I have gone down to the store and kids working there say they cannot do any thing. Can anybody tell me how I can get my 8700.

Any help would be appreciated.

is there a sprint corporate store near by? maybe try there.. what is the return policy? i would return it and then just buy a new one from the corporate store..

Oh, I don't know about that. I think the 8700 is a step up from the 7130, and definitely a goal worth attaining :D
