I am currently with Nextel using the BlackBerry 7100i. Whenever I call another Nextel user, I hear silence until the person answers. I do not hear any ringing. This is annoying because apparently I don't hear the person saying "hello" until they have said it several times. This only happens when I am calling other Nextel users. Any ideas?

My partner and I used to have a Nextel cell phones and the same thing happened everytime we called our office landline phones as well as often happening to other landlines or cell phones that were Nextel or not. It was a hassle!
