Default Kinda Vague, but . .

Hello,

This is probably a basic question but I can't find the answer in my user guide.

I have manually added contacts in my blackberry, and have no contacts listed in my Outlook Exchange Server email. I would like to sync the two, but I'm afraid that the blank contacts in my email will overwrite those that are in the blackberry. Any advice? Using Desktop Manager 4.1.

Thanks in advance!

the device will add all your contacts from the device to outlook, no worries about losing your stuff. make sure you have wireless sync option turned on in the address book options

Hi emb, the quick response is much appreciated. Does the wireless sync option need to be turned on if I am docking the bb and performing the sync via desktop manager? Thanks again!

I don't think so, that option is only for BES wireless sync. You should be good to go with the sync option either way.....
