Default 7290 Error

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys

I am having a problem with one of our 7290 models, where the device cannot seem to be able to connect to the desktop manager. There is no indication of anything being wrong other than the red light on top, double flashing every once or so.

Can anybody help me out with this problem as it is rather urgent that we fix it or swap it out for a new one.

Have you set the connection settings up correctly?

On the destop manager, go to Options>Connection Settings

I had the same thing this morning when I installed for the first time on the pc

The desktop software is set up correctly as I have a number of devices that have worked correctly before and after I tried this specific unit. As I have said, the only abnormality is the double flash of the light on the handheld.

PLEASE read the manual for your device. it's on blackberry.net if you didn't get one.. it's all explained in clear terms in the device documentation.

I was having same issue before! something is corrupt in the OS. you will need to wipe device and re-load OS. Just look up posts Ive done instructions are within. I think it is titled "dead Blackberry"
