Problems with Email Settings (8703e)
I'm trying to access my email settings for the first time since I created it.
I put in my User ID and then my Password, it tells me: Please check your information and try again.
So I put in my User ID and click on "Forgot your Password?" and in a few seconds I get messaged my password. What's odd is that this password that was sent to me is a password I never created it, anyways I tried the password with my user ID and it still says: Please check your information and try again.
I don't know what to do. I have a password that i've never created that comes to my message box, but when I use it, it still doesn't work. Any ideas?
Call your carrier. They should be able to either fix the issue themselves, or engage RIM to correct the problem.
Is this for BIS?
I have Verizon and when I click on "Email Accounts" the bar at the top DOES say "BlackBerry Internet Service" so I'm guessing yes it's BIS--i'm new to BlackBerry.
When I accessed it the first time a week ago, I put in my User ID and a password from a personal account as I didn't know I was setting up an actual User ID for something else - but it worked, and it allowed me to put in my personal email accounts and then I never used it again. I just wanted to add another email account, but I can't get in.
Fixed - Update
Just wanted to give you all an update on my problem... I called my carrier and they said for some unknown reason my account was locked that's why I wasn't able to access my account with the password they sent me. Oh well...
