Mine takes about 7 minutes after pulling the battery. I have the Cingular latest 4.1 OS / App. I use O2.

IS this about right for this unit? If not, andone have ideas on how I could speed ths up?

My always took quite awhile to load, not quite 7 minutes but definately longer than 2 or 3. I think, I'm not certain however, that the memory of the device will slow the load time down if the device itself is close to full memory. Maybe try to free up some memory if you can to see if it helps.

Same here, my 7100t with Tmobile took between two and three minutes.

mine is slow as balls just like everyone else.
it sucks i know.
