Default Turn 'SMART CASE' on/off while writing text

Please Login to Remove!

good afternoon,

i was wondering if there is an easy way to turn the SMART CASE option on and off. if i write informal e-mail or sms i never use capitalization of words but my blackberry is so smart it does it for me... once it starts to capitalize the 'I' and the beginning of a sentence it forces me to do the rest also... very annoying :o)

please help!

thanks

I don't think it's possible. That's probably why nobody responded.

Default workaround

i figured out a workaround - it's just not very convenient...

whenever you start writing (e.g. at the beginning of the sentence), you delete that capitalized letter and type it again.

that way you can write it all in minor letters - but as i said, it's a bit of a hassle and if anyone has a better solution, i would highly appreciate it.

thanks!
