Default MP3 Attachments in GMail

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, I have searched high and low to try and find an answer on this so I apologize if I missed it somehow and someone has already answered this question:

I have an 8703e through Verizon and I am trying to send myself an .MP3 I will use as my ringer to my GMail account. I have the Google Services downloaded on my device. When it alerts me I have a new e-mail, I open it and it says I have attachments, but there is no option to save them! I've even tried to access my GMail through the browser and when I click on attachments, it takes me to a screen where it shows me the files, but no way to save them (included pushing the roller wheel).

This is driving me crazy, what am I doing wrong???

Thanks for any help!

kwunderly, you have to use the html version of gmail in your browser http://mail.google.com/mail/h/.

Then you can navigate to your email and click on the attachment.

I have the same problem with most e-mail attachments. It makes me crazy that we have tp pay money for add-ons to fix these things.

Change the emulation mode. With the browser open, click the thumbwheel, click Options, click Browser Configuration, then change emulation to IE. That worked for me.

Are you on BES or BIS? If you're on BES, load it with the Internet Browser, not the Blackberry Browser.

If you're on BIS, who's your service provider. Maybe not all carriers have upgraded to BIS 2.0 or 2.1 or whichever enabled access to mp3s.
