Access Aim Or Im From My Blackberry 8700g Through The Web So I Use My Data Unlimited Plan, Rather Than A Text Message For Each Time I Get An Instant Message, Any Ideas?????

thanks, but i would still use google talk on the bb as an allication. so i would be charged for the texting. im being cheap b/c i dont want to pay 19.99 for unlimited text. can someone tell me a way to AIM from the web on my BB???

that way you showed throught that link i dont think will help my cause??

Google talk uses data not text therefore if you have an unlimited BB data plan you will be fine.

Or you could use the Blackberry messenger that is found on the discoverblackberry.com owner's lounge or on the technical pages. I don't remember where I found it in the first place. If you're using T-Mobile, you could download the messenger pack which includes aol, msn, icq, and yahoo. There is also yahoo messenger for the blackberry as well.

what ones act as if you are getting text messages, i dont want that b/c i dont have texting, but i do have the unlimited data plan

Ramble IM is what I use with my unlimited data plan and it works great for me and my wife (her 8700g and me 8700c)
