Please Login to Remove!

My 8700c is set up by my company with BES. I have 3 browsers

Blackberry

Internet Browser

why do I have or need all three? do they perform differently? Can i delete 2 of them?

thanks for the continuing education.

i 'hide' two and leave only the blackberry browser. to the best of my knowledge, the only difference is what home page they start on. the shortcuts are all stored on one page anyway, with three expandable trees (one for each of the 'browswers')

i believe that the difference is that cingular might be a WAP browser, internet a regular browser, and blackberry browser is your internal BES browser.. i could be mistaken though, do a search though as this has been discussed before, i can't remember the specifics though but i think that might be it..

I would keep all three. Each acts differently depending on the server being used. the company one may restrict, the Blackberry one may allow downloading the others dont. I have found this on my BB. My company restricts the Cingular and Internet but does not seem to bother the Rim browser for some reason. It wont hurt anything so why dump any.
