Default 8703e slowing down?

Please Login to Remove!

Happy Holidays to all, I have a verizon 8703 and it seems to be slowing down quite a bit. Like when i get a voicemail or txt message it takes a few seconds to open? Is there any tip out there to speed up the device? or should i erase old emails on it? I tried searching but came up short? Any help is appreciated.

I have noticed that the device slows down considerably when using it in an area with no wireless; the best thing to do then is to turn off the wireless until you are back in an area where you have signal, other than that I haven't generally seen a slow down, but it may happen due to data build up and low memory resources.

My 8703e does seem to wait a second before moving to a lot off functions, starting with opening after unlocking. The 8700c I have has far more stored on it, but is far quicker. Not sure why.

Maybe you need to clear some memory storage. Something I found that hogs a lot of space is the logging. Hold ALT and press LGLG, which will take you to the logging screen. Turn off the event logging , that may help some, along with clearing some space on you BB as well.
