Default storing email addys

Please Login to Remove!

when i go to type an email very often i find myself always having to type in the full email. other than storing the email under a contact, is there any way to store them in the phone? is there an option i can set for auto text to finish the email addy for me if it is an email that i have already used in the past?

it gets very annoying always having to type out someones email addy.

thanks

Where else would you store them? There isn't anywhere else. Best thing to do is to store the email address in the contact info. That's what it's designed for. When you start typing the email address the address book will come up and narrow down as you type.

if i just go to compose a new email i just want an auto complete feature. i dont want to make a contact for every email addy i want to send an email for.

my old phone had this feature. it would finish the email when i began to type it.

oh well.

thanks

For that you have to store the email address in the contact. It works quite well. When you compose a new email you just start to type in the name of the person you want to email then the BB narrows down the address book based on how much of the name you type (first or last name) and you select the name you want. If there are two email addresses (each contact can hold up to three) for a contact it will allow you to choose the one you want. It's fast and works great. That's just how the BB works.
