HELP! I killed my Crackberry

So this chick PISSED me off. So I did a search for her name and attempted to delete all texts, calls etc.

And the result.......major hang time, BB shuts OFF, I get an error about "message limit something or the other"

And NOW, my inbox is no more. To see my texts I have to "View Folder; SMS Inbox; Select". It is annoying and time consuming...

HELP

Best suggestion? Hook it up to your PC, start up DM and clear some databases. It happens from time to time.

I would start by removing and reinserting the battery. Then, if that doesn't do it, try what careyana suggested. If none of that works and you are still having issues with all that, you may want to use the wipe handheld command under options >Security Settings >General Settings. That will erase all your personal data (contacts, emails....etc.) but leave your OS and apps untouched. You should do a backup first, however, but don't restore it after the wipe. Then go back and setup email again, etc. You can then add back individual items from your backup. I suggest not restoring the entire backup as you may just get back all your original problems.

If none of this works then you'll have to wipe the handheld completely of data and OS and reload the OS and start from scratch. Let's hope it doesn't come to that but if it does, it's not that hard to do.

Sounds like he deleted his Inbox. Although I can't see how from the BB

Believe it or not, removing and replacing the battery did it.

I sense much anger in this one....

Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. Suffering leads to the dark side.

You will not be trained in the Jedi arts young one....

Yes Obi Wan, but the dark side is stronger.
