I sync my BlackBerry with iCal on my Mac. A recurring appointment repeats itself every Sunday on my BlackBerry, but it does not appear in iCal. When I delete the series on my BlackBerry, the appointments disappear, but they re-appear on the device after my next sync. (I'm not sure if this information is relevant, but the appointment is from an iCal calendar for the New England Patriots season schedule to which I subscribe.)

Any idea how I can permanently delete this recurring appointment?
