Default I have 2 attempts before my BB 8700 erases my data and locks me out. What do I do?

Please Login to Remove!

I connect my bb to my work computer and some "key store"/certificate screen came up and now my password is not working.

I tried my password several times and I now have 2 attempts before my bb completely dies on me...

Is there a way I can preven this?

I tried calling our supporting desktop and their not helping

If you're connected to a BES have the admins reset your device password...

i am not on BES...its weird...

right now it tells me to unlock my screen...and when i enter the password...i've used for months...it still does not work.

Make sure your CAP or NUM lock isn't active. I've done this and not noticed many times. You'll need to hit the appropriate shift key to deactivate the CAP/NUM lock.

I'm guessing this isn't your problem, however, as it should have asked you to type "blackberry" (and not masked what you typed with asterisks) once or twice by now. If blackberry doesn't appear in lowercase then that's your problem.
