| Thanks for your input but I found the javaloader. It is that the link that I found either here or on pinstack for the javaloader had been disabled because nothing was there. It seems that everyone's replies were late. Once I installed the javaloader, I was able to perform the wipe and reload the os.
Since I purchased the device from someone else, I was unable to send it back for a warranty exchange to get another device. I'll just use this one for now. Hopefully, that new 8800, 8900, or whatever it'll be called will be released soon. At that point, I'll get a new device unless I continue to have problems with this one. I have used the BB for several years and this is my first experience ever with this.I'll follow up with the exact link to the java loader, so that the next person that runs into an issue won't have to go on a "manhunt" as I did to find it. |
