I recently purchased a Blackerry 8700c from a reseller on AMAZON.COM. The device is locked to Cingular, but they will not unlock the phone for me. Besides, I have tried several online unlock companies, but all are unable to unlock the phone, because they just can't find my IMEI #. Now I am left holding an expensive instrument that's no help to me. What alternative do I have. Is there someone out there who can assist me?

If it's locked to Cingular and online unlocking company's can't get it done, then there is nothing that you can do.....

Wait a bit and try unlocking company's again in a few weeks and see if they can locate the IMEI in the DB then....
