Exclamation Blackberry Messenger Help

Please Login to Remove!

I recently received an unlocked 8700g from my friend who is on a t-mobile plan. I am a cingular customer, and everythings seems to be working fine. However, when my friend sent me a message inviting me to Blackberry Messenger, and I clicked on the link Blackberry.com/messenger, I get a message saying "the requested page can not be displayed."

Further, I cannot access the blackberry download site for their games, mobile.blackberry.com. It also gives me the same message "the requested page can not be displayed."

Is there a setting on my blackberry that is causing this problem?

Thank you tremendously.

Patrick

By the sounds of it you need to get a blackberry data plan through Cingular

IIRC you need to make sure your using the internet browser (sometimes named "browser") and not the Blackberry Browser nor the Cingular/WAP browser.

I am using the "cingular browser." How do I download the "internet browser?"
Thanks a ton!
