DST 2007 patch for Verizon

Default DST 2007 patch for Verizon

I read the article at bbhub.com regarding the patches available for blackberry's to deal with the new DST changes. I checked verizon's site and it still has the 4.1.0.344 OS. Yet the BB site shows the upgraded OS (with patch) is 4.1.0.452

Anyone know when this will be available for download?

Single-file patches should be available in the next 1-2 weeks (10-800KB in size, depending on your device and OS). Carrier OS updates should be available between now and mid-February, if they decide to release them.

I like your candor "if they release them" !! Lots of unhappy users complaining to their carrier when March rolls around and their appointments are wrong.

What would be the impact of using the single-file patch without the carrier's OS update?
