Default 8700 Dialing Keypad Question

Please Login to Remove!

Well, I was just in a position where I had to 'dial the letters of the persons name' to get an extension. Obviously, the keys are too small to print the '3 letters per number' on each key 2-9 on the keypad. I was kind of stuck at that moment.

Is there a button or external option to pop up this information on the screen? On my treo I could click a key-pad icon on the screen during the call to see this information. How do I do something similar with the 8700?

TIA!

Ooh ooh - can I answer?

We haven't had this question for a few days!

To dial an alpha number, hold the ALT key (lower left hand corner) and hit the letter. This information can also be found in the online help system and in many of the Sticky Thread FAQs...
