Default 7100g Browser Wont work?!

Please Login to Remove!

So i just got this phone for free from a pal, and I want to start using it. Whenever I try to open up the browser, it says that I am unable to connect and to contact the administrator or w/e.

Whats wrong? Do i have to enable it in Cingular or what?

Welcome to the forums,
First, you need a Blackberry Data Plan. Once you get that it should work. Did your pal use it with his work? If so, it could still have an IT policy on it restricting internet usage. Go to Options >Security Settings >General Settings and scroll to the bottom. If there is an entry for "IT Policy" with date and time stamps then your BB has a policy on it and "could" restrict certain features of the BB.

So how do I disable that? My friend didnt have enterprise, he didnt really use it. He didnt like it so he gave it to me.
