Default How to tell if phone is unlocked

Please Login to Remove!

I picked up a 7105t off of ebay. How do I tell if it is unlocked? I want to use it on the Rogers network. Can I get rid of the T-Mobile stuff also? Do I need to replace the operating system with the Roger's software?? Thanks.

Mike.

To check if it is unlocked you can go into options, advanced options, SIM card. Type in meppd ( just type in those 5 keys). It will show you a screen of items that will be either disabled or enabled. If the network is disabled, then it is unlocked.

What TMO stuff do you want to get rid of?
It should work with Rogers network without replacing the os.
